Help Us Turn Up the Heat On the Republicans
We must raise $12,501 by next Tuesday, Primary night, to respond to the these negative attacks from the Republicans.
If you’ve been waiting for a critical time to send your contribution to the Democratic Party this year, that time is now! MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION NOW!
We are in the fight of our lives, and the party is stepping up to help re-elect Governor Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Terry Goddard, elect Jim Pederson to the US Senate, and to take critical seats in Congress and in the state legislature.
Your contribution will give us the resources to combat the right-wing media campaign we’ve endured recently. We will fight back on the radio, as well as with door-to-door and phone contacts with likely voters.
Did you know that Arizonan workers haven’t received an increase in pay since 1997?
The Democratic Party, and leaders such as Governor Napolitano and our outstanding Attorney General Terry Goddard, are strongly behind Proposition 202 which would create a livable minimum wage in our state. Yet, Senator Kyl has refused to take a position on it, and recently voted with the Bush Administration to kill a proposed increase in the federal minimum wage.
Make no mistake about it: everything we do this year – every campaign we support – is a prelude to taking the White House in 2008, and putting an end to the disastrous 6 years we’ve endured under George W. Bush.
Each of our candidates for state office and Congress rely upon the resources of the State Party, and I cannot fully underscore how critical the Party is to whether they win or lose. MAKE A CONTRIBUTION NOW!
Every Democratic candidate in our state is counting on us, and we are counting on you!

Suggestions for slogans:
In response to tax and spend, Republicans are borrow ‘til bankrupt, or borrow ‘til broke.
In response to cut and run, Bush is shoot first, aim later.
Iraq should be referred to as Vietraq.
In the Declaration of Independence, didn’t the Founding Fathers protest King George’s abuses, including unlawful detainment? Why is President Bush pushing for re-instating this practice that the American Revolution was supposed to have ended?
