Maricopa County Democratic Party Releases Campaign Ads

The Maricopa County Democratic Party yesterday released to the public their first campaign ads of the season. They are “web-only” adds that are critical of Congressional Candidates J.D. Hayworth, John Shadegg and Jon Kyl in a humorus and informative way. Locally produced by a concerned group of voters, known as SmartAZVoters, these ads are small enough to be included in an email, but large enough to make a very big statement.

The issues covered in the ad entititled “Prayer” is Hayworth, Shadegg and Kyl’s votes on education funding in light of their votes to permit prayer in schools. The second ad, titled “How Much,” looks at the amount of money Kyl, Shadegg and Hayworth each received from Jack Abramoff or any of his PACs. The third ad is entitled “The Choir.” Who needs more proof to elect independent thinking Democrats to the Congress than seeing who are the members of The Choir?

Check them out at www.maricopademocrat.com.

The ads were paid for by the Maricopa County Democratic Party and are not authorized by any candidate or committee.
