Arizona Democratic Party seeking Spanish Language Press Secretary

The Arizona Democratic Party seeks a driven, self-starting Spanish Language Press Secretary. Ideal candidate would be interested in both communications and delivering the Democratic message to the Latino community. Candidate should be involved in the Latino community and able to build contacts within the community. Duties will include heavy involvement in the Latino community; planning and executing press opportunities to the Latino community; maintaining relationships with Spanish language media; drafting and translating Spanish language press releases; and talking to Spanish language television and radio stations. Job will also include regular duties within the press department such as drafting press releases; fielding press requests; specialty media; staffing events and hearings; and assisting Communications Director as needed. Press experience is preferred but not required. Strong writing skills in Spanish and English is a must. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required.
