Tim Bee courts big money for Congressional campaign

Attendees to Tim Bee’s fundraiser at the Arizona Club tonight are a who’s who of lobbyists with special interests at the Capitol this legislative session.

“This is a clear signal that the price for access to the Senate President’s office is the ticket to Tim Bee’s Congressional fundraiser tonight,” said Emily Bittner, a spokeswoman for the Arizona Democratic Party. “We believe it’s against the interests of all Arizonans that the Senate President is leveraging his current office for money for his next campaign.”

Among the lobbyists’ clients are beer companies, HMOs, tow truck companies, developers, Wal-Mart and private prisons.
