Democrats aim to reach 75,000 voters Saturday

Democratic volunteers are aiming to contact 75,000 Independent voters in just one day, with Gov. Janet Napolitano dialing voters herself to make the pitch to get out and vote.

“With less than two weeks until Election Day, our volunteers are contacting voters around the state talking about the importance of getting our economy back on track by sending real problem solvers to our State Capitol and Washington.” Napolitano said. “I’m looking forward to talking to voters about having partners at every level of government.”

Other elected officials, including Attorney General Terry Goddard, will lead voter contact efforts at dozens of locations all across the state.

Napolitano will address all the volunteers statewide at noon.
